Chapter 12 TISZ Wick
In the night
that darkness envelop it. In the forest that was isolated inside a wall.
The darkness that
give a sense of false tranquility. It envelop all the sound that was produce in
the night and movement in the forest into the darkness. Even though all that
can be seen is that nothing going on in the darkness the truth are a lot of
kind that happening in that darkness.
The darkness
envelop all kind of thing that making people give a false impression that there
nothing in the darkness. Darkness also hide all the type of thing that can make
people puke.
In the wood
right now at the side of the forest there exist a lone corpse. It was tear to
piece. In the other side of the wood of tree it hide a few corpse that
scattered all over. It make the people unable to discern from far away what it
is that they are looking right.
The darkness
can become your friend. It hide all the pain that existed all around you into
the darkness. The darkness can become your enemy. It hide the threat that
existed at that time making the owner of the body to have false impression. The
darkness whether it a friend or foe depend on that person to interpret which is
it.
On the night
in the land of wood that fill with tree a sound was heard.
“Bam!!!”
The sound was
loud enough that it almost reverberate throughout the entire area. A sound like
something heavy hit the ground with a large force.
It cause many
leave that loosely attached to the tree to fall to the ground. Following that sound
after sometime a second like a thunder striking the ground.
“Booooommm!!!”
“Krouooooggghhh!!!”
With the
sound a flash of light also accompanied it. It make the sea of tree that was
blanket in the darkness to be fill with a light that illuminated the
surrounding from the center of the sound to the edge of the sea of tree. When a
person saw it from a faraway place it will look like a like it came from a city
when seeing it behind the mountain with the exception was that this light only
illuminate for a few second before it dimmed down.
In the center
of the source of impact two shadow can be seen evading the attack. Both of the
shadow stood for a while and then both of them dash to opposite direction from
each other.
At the time
that both of the shadow running away to the opposite direction a few movement was
seen to be following them.
One of the
shadow moving with a speed that can beat a national runner easily. The shadow
face show an expression that it is frantic. Although the expression show just a
little frantic but it still cannot be said that the expression that it show was
natural.
The
unnaturalness of the expression was from the expression that the eye show. The entire
face of the shadow show a little frantic but the eye show a blank expression
from the unfocused eye.
The shadow
that run across the wood of tree was a shadow of a women. This women run past
every obstacle like hole on the ground, fallen tree and dead tree trunk without
slowing down a little bit.
Shadow of the
women run in flight mode without looking at the back and continue to run for
her life.
Looking
closely at the face of the women shadow it can be seen that the person that is
running right now is Miny.
The moment
both Miny and Nap run from the scene of attack just now, Miny has been
continued to run without stopping. Sometime she wander whether Nap still alive
or not.
Running like
the wind through the wood of tree without looking at the back, she know that
the children ghost is still chasing her.
After
separated from that place Miny already throw the candle to who-know-where while
her ran to reduce the weight she carry.
She know all
of this from the sound produced at her back right now. What she was bewildered
sometime before was that there no sound came from her back. So, she sigh in
relief for a while without slowing down or lower the tension she feel too much.
Much to her
shock after faintly hearing the sound like someone kick the tree, that sound
became louder and louder. It began to reach her despite to the speed that she
ran right now can be categories as fast.
Then it come
to the situation she is in right now. The fact was she been chased by the ghost
of children that had a big body that Benny.
Benny right
now is chasing Miny by kicking the tree trunk and then to the side front tree
trunk while holding a giant hammer with him.
Boom!! Boom!! Boom!! Boom!!
The sound
that was produced when Benny move to chased Miny. Hearing the sound from
produce from Benny step Miny continue run faster than the speed she travel
right now.
Without
waiting for more time Benny lift the arm holding the hammer to the back and
throw the hammer to the direction Miny is running to.
Sensing the
threat with her instinct she make a side jump to the right while ready her leg to
the right. She do not know why she do that but she follow her instinct and
trust it. The hammer passed by her side and hit the ground at the place where
she gonna run to if she continue to run.
Even though
she evade the hammer alas the shock wave produce from it hit her and make the
distance she jump become longer and the speed that she move to the side become
faster.
Seeing this
she understood the reason that her warn to extend her leg. Then she brace for
impact, taking the force of momentum of her travel through the air with her
body and withstand it. After that she fix her postured and continue running to
the front.
Benny that
still in the air land before the place that the hammer land. Upon landing Benny
slide to the left side of the hammer and lunge his hand to the hammer handle.
He then hold
the hammer and continue with a run. He run with a speed unlike his size move to
the place that Miny land and hold the hammer up high and then stomp to Miny.
The same time
that the hammer was brought upward Miny already fixed her posture and jump to
the front. This make Miny dodge the hammer. After doing the jump seeing that
she jump to the front continue running.
Benny seeing
that the attack that he made do not hit roar with a loud voice before continue
pursuing.
“Roooooooooaaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrr”
See that
Benny running speed unlike before almost catch to her and begin to attack again
jump to the right side evading the attack continue with a jump to the front.
With the
attack that not hit Miny when Benny saw it, he followed up with a slide with a
hammer still on the ground to the right side without minding that it drag the
earth with it.
After evading
the second attack Miny no longer running straight to the front. Right now she
feel that she need to run zigzagging while using the tree as cover.
The feeling
that she had manage to reduce the energy that she need to evade making the
efficiency of using her energy increase.
Benny saw
that Miny continued to run in a weird way began to attack again. This time the
attack no longer able to move directly to Miny include the shock wave. This was
because Miny used the tree as the cover every time she feel that Benny gonna
attack.
All of this
cause the attack of Benny to land on the tree stopping it from hitting Miny. Furthermore
Benny do not stop but continue to attack Miny.
First attack
Second attack
Third attack
Fourth attack
No matter how
many time that Benny attack it not hit Miny even perturbed Miny movement.
This made Benny
became angrier and attack more often than before.
Miny, seeing
that the attack Benny make no longer hitting her easily begin to take more
relaxed stance and tried to find a way to lose Benny.
No matter how
much she tried to use her instinct to find a way out she still do not find it.
As Benny
still continue attack toward Miny at one of the side of the turn. When Benny
attack the ground beside the tree after Miny dodge the hammer, a splinter was
produced.
The moment
that Miny dodge the hammer, the scenery around her change. She saw that the
ground was shrinking and the distance to the top of the tree was reduce.
For a moment
it not register to her brain what had happen then her instinct kick in and she
begin to see that she moving quite a distance from the tree beside her just
now.
When it
register to her brain then she understand what had happened. It look like she
was thrown into the air and then while still in the airborne her instinct kick
in to made her kick the tree beside her moving to another tree.
At the side
of Benny seeing that Miny disappear suddenly feel confused he look at the
pieces of wood that now became splinter when he hit it.
Then a loud ‘thud’
sound was produced nearby and when he move to the direction of the sound. He
saw. Miny is writhed in pain.
Benny then
brought the hammer above his head and then swing to the direction of Miny.
“………………….!!”
An unaudible
sound then was produced before Miny give her last breath before she died.
